A traditional rustic chalet built in abundant timber and wooden panes, the mountain-based Chalet Alpette located in the tranquil area of Les Proveres in Courchevel Village reigns superior with its authenticity and welcoming warmth. As wood wraps the entire facade of the chalet right to its interior, guests will find that the material is featured in its exposed, raw form on the walls to conjure a natural and unpolished appeal that further enhances the chalet’s charm. Interior wise, the furnishings are a subtle and eclectic mix of wood, stones for its supporting columns, fur, hides, antlers and some typical Alpine objects that render it tasteful and homely. Designed with 5 ensuite bedrooms for 10 guests, Chalet Alpette sits on a privileged section of serenity, yet just a few hundred metres from the slopes, ski lifts and the resort’s centre. The chalet also boasts of stunning panoramic views of the great mountains, with numerous state-of-the-art facilities and lovely atmosphere for its interiors and exteriors that promise a delightful holiday for guests in the French Alps.
There are 5 splendid bedrooms at Chalet Alpette which can sleep up to 10 persons, which can be found on Level 1 and Level 2 of the property. The Master Bedroom is located on Level 1 with double bedding and an ensuite bathroom consisting of a bathtub and double sink, along with amenities like a chest of drawers, dressing table, Apple TV and DVD player. Another double bedroom is also on this level with its ensuite bathroom, while 3 more double bedrooms are all upstairs on Level 2 with each having its own ensuite bathroom as well as SONOS speakers as the unifying element across.
Itsexterior architectureis built in true authentic alpine style, decked in wood for the walls and stone for the supporting columns. There is a boots heater room, parking space, and elevator that count as among its outdoor amenities, while all around the chalet are the white slopes that guests can savour all-day long, which is especially appealing in the outdoor jacuzzi.
Featuring a subtle blend of wood, fur, hides, and antlers, the interiors are charming, rustic, and delightfully contemporary and which makes the chalet unique in taste and vibe. The living area that is up on Level 3 is built with high ceilings and affords stupendous views over the marvellous mountains, and is further enhanced by a beautiful fireplace for guests to congregate around. The closed kitchen area and dining hall is also found here on this level. Another living room with an office space and television lounge is located on the Mezzanine level.
Shuttle service is one of the privileges for guests to head to and fro the slopes, while the housekeeping team performs daily maintenance and cleaning services for 4 hours per day, along with serving breakfast. Guests will also be welcomed with champagne and flowers, while their beds will also be made prior to their arrival, with change of towels and linens, as well as end-of-stay cleaning services also included.
Perched on the private hamlet of Les Proveres, guests can easily reach the pistes within a 300-meter distance and head to the Courchevel village centre by foot. The slopes of the 3 Vallees ski area are a recommended spot for guests to start off their vacation here. While Courchevel is generally the entire ski resort, it also refers to the towns named as Courchevel 1300, Courchevel 1550, Courchevel 1650 and Courchevel 1850, with the numbers in reference to their altitude in meters. Chalet Alpette is in Courchevel 1550 specifically and off the slopes, guests could enjoy activities like dining and wining at the restaurants and bars, or shopping at the various shops.
