Grandiose and luxurious in space and design, Chalet Overview located at the entrance to Courchevel Moriond (1650) is the epitome of high-society living. For guests who are purveyors of the finest things in life, Chalet Overview certainly exceeds the expectations - owing to the class and sophistication that it projects, where contemporary clean lines meet the classic elements that it is not surprising why this chalet is sometimes dubbed with its style name as ‘Comtempor’Alpin’. The chalet was injected with a new lease of life in 2013 by the professional team behind civil interior design, and it has since enjoyed considerable commendations by those who have spent their holidays here. Designed with 5 ensuite bedrooms for 10 guests within a generous space area of 400 sq meters, there are plenty of spaces and in-house amenities to occupy your time. Among the upscale features include a lounge fitted with a library, a gorgeously-built central fireplace embedded into the partition of the wall, a spa with XXL Jacuzzi, steam room and solarium, fitness area, a bar hall with pool table and a movie theater! If these are not enough to keep you relatively chilled and happy, then there is always the ski slopes and resort center to look forward to, and close enough by virtue of its excellent location.
Sleeping in Chalet Overview is a luxurious affair, with 5 grand bedrooms that are all excellently provided for its 10 guests. There are 2 bedrooms which are fitted with 2 single beds, while the other 3 bedrooms are fitted with double bedding. Each room is characterised by special features and amenities that make them luxurious, but they are all equipped with their own ensuite bathrooms. For example, one of the double bedrooms has a sexy, freestanding bathtub just behind the bed space with a walk-in shower and office area to boot, while another double bedroom comes with a mini bar and the shower that is installed with body jets.
The panoramic outdoors consist of snow-laden slopes and green trees all around, making them all-day vistas to savour from the comfort of the wooden balconies extended from some of the bedrooms. A calm, turquoise swimming pool beckons just outside the tiled terrace with sun deck chairs lined up on one side, all under the infinite skyline.
Inside the chalet, guests will find the interior design and architecture are nothing short of sumptuousness with the use of top-notch materials, furnishings and fittings as well as the gloss of shine omnipresent throughout the space. The living hall is fitted with floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that allow for the beauty of the outdoors to stream in, accentuating the abundant use of wood in the flooring, wall panelling and ceiling that are also softened by a vivid dash of colours on the various furniture. Proceed from the expansive living hall towards the dining space fitted with a round table and velvety high-back chairs, as well as the ultra-contemporary kitchen area that jives in seamlessly with the whole interior, and with an additional dining spot parked here. It also boasts of a host of other facilities built-in here, including a spacious gym room, a billiard section with a pool table adjoining a television lounge, and a sauna to boot!
