If you wish, you can use the Hiace rental car available to guests, you do need an international driving license for the same. The house is warm thanks to the wood-burning fireplace and the presence of loved ones. It has modern comforts as well including a widescreen Apple TV so you can enjoy both the understated elegance of a wood cabin and high-tech features.
Koho features three bedrooms that are well-furnished, comfortable, bright and warm. One bedroom features a double bed, the second features a double or two single beds and the last one is perfect for kids with bunk beds. They are spacious, simplistic and inviting so you can wake up feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Windows allow ample views of the scenery and fresh air throughout the day.
The bunk-bedded room comes with a flat-screen TV so the kids can watch their favourite shows. Each bedroom comes accompanied by a modern ensuite bathroom. They are designed with necessities to keep you comfortable including a spacious shower area, toiletries including shampoo/conditioner/body wash and clean towels, hair dryers and more.
When it is winter season, the forest is covered under pristine white snow for a spectacular panorama visible from Koho. The house features wide verandas with wooden fencing for a charming space where you can enjoy the verdant views around the house, enjoy a glass of wine in the evenings and relish a delicious brunch. Niseko Lower Hirafu is a peaceful space for leisurely walks and you can always head to the central village for a livelier ambiance as it is teeming with restaurants, bars and shops.
Koho is spreaded over two floors and a basement so you have ample room to make this a home away from home. The second floor is occupied by the spacious open-plan living area with a dining area and fully-equipped kitchen. The lounge is well-designed with a layout that allows you to rest with everyone as there is a long red couch, some armchairs, a wood-fireplace and all-wooden interiors. The light wood fittings, large windows and bright interiors let you relax in peace in this inviting environment. There is an Apple TV in the living room with a DVD player to give you options so you can watch your favourite movies and TV shows.
The dining area and kitchen occupy the other side of this space making this a spectacular family room for everyone to enjoy. The kitchen is fully-equipped and open, designed with ample counter space, wooden cabinets and drawers, packed with the essentials including modern appliances such as a two-burner cooking heater, rice cooker, microwave, oven and a coffee machine so you can grab the coffee of your choice and enjoy a cuppa. The dining table stands right by the kitchen with seating for up to eight guests where many a memorable meal is had.
Koho is a newly-renovated holiday home in Niseko, Japan that caters to families, a group of friends and couples. The house is surrounded by the alpine forest that makes for a serene environment to relax in. It is self-contained and is equipped with whatever you need. Cleaning supplies, dishwasher, washing machine with dryer and a fully-equipped kitchen with utensils and dinnerware. A four-wheel drive is available for guests to drive if they have a valid license.
Either take the rental car or the free shuttle bus that is only 4 minutes away in order to explore the many areas of Hirafu. Niseko has many Michelin-star restaurants like Kamimura as well as Japanese izakaya bars for some sake late at night. Natural hot spring resorts, ski lifts and the slopes are some of the various activities that you can do here.
