Sumba Island may be more isolated than Bali but it’s definitely larger and more quiet, perfect for travellers who wish to spend more time languidly lying by the ocean and enjoying the peaceful ambiance. The local market is fairly close to the villa so you can easily get the daily essentials. There are many activities you can engage in such as horse rides, surfing, yoga etc. Experience a traditional way of life passed down by ancestors that is hard to find in the more popular islands of Indonesia.
