An old aristocratic villa that was converted from what was previously an olive farm - such is the historical background of Villa Saint-Veran that became a residential abode in the 18th century. It was owned by the same family for over 100 years, before it was refurbished and restored for over 2 years to lend it the breath of life. While retaining its original character and elegance, guests can also expect modern comforts that await them within. Villa Saint-Veran sits impressively on a hilltop within a private and quiet setting that affords vantage views of the Saint-Veran forest here in Nice, as well as the Alps and the sea. Surrounded by 2 hectares of verdant Meditteranean parkland and landscaped gardens, this is the one villa that guests would want to spend their vacation days in.
There are 7 bedrooms to boot within Villa Saint-Veran, which are spread over 3 different floors namely the lower ground floor, the ground floor and first floor. There are 4 bedrooms that can be found on the ground floor itself, each with different bed configuration. The first bedroom can be fitted with 2 single beds or a king-sized bed as well as a cast iron bathtub for its bathroom, followed by the second bedroom with its king-sized four-poster bed, Italian shower for the bathroom and scenic garden views from the bathtub. The third and fourth bedrooms are no less impressive with their own super king-sized bed and king-sized beds respectively, while also designed with their own Italian showers. The 1st floor accommodates 2 other bedrooms - one of which has a bunk bed for kids and the other being a 4-poster bed with an ensuite old-fashioned bathroom. Finally, the last and 7th bedroom is located on the lower ground floor configured with 2 single beds and an ensuite bathroom.
The outdoors of the villa is surrounded by about 2 hectares of lush Meditteranean parkland and landscaped gardens, featuring numerous terraces, centennial olive trees and cypresses, eucalyptus, palm trees and oleanders leading up to a woodland. There is also a rectangular private swimming pool to enjoy while fitted with an alarm system for security, and a pool house with a large fridge and dining terrace. An outdoor living area is where guests get to also congregate around while having their afternoon tea or drinks, and not forgetting a barbeque facility to fully immerse in the joys of French life.
The ground floor of the villa’s indoors consist of a hallway led to by a large entrance, followed by a spacious open plan living and dining room characterised by high ceilings, decorative fireplace, large windows and French doors that open out to a lovely balcony and affords views of the park, the woods and sea in the distance.
